Recap of Day 2: I won't lie...aloe meat is officially my least favorite "healthy" healing food! I literally had to choke down the morning smoothie. I've tried it several times in the past and now I remember why I never did it again. I am sure I put too much in or not enough of another fruit. However, I felt great considering. I also had to keep reminding myself to eat the next meal or snack. (that could be the "lyme brain"). Lunch was awesome too. Who knew salad drenched in only Orange Juice would taste good. I had energy the whole day. I even snuck in a little nap with my sick girl.
Day 3: We were up and down all night with more fevers and tears, but it's 6:57am and I am up and cranking. Thankfully our little one will be with her Dad all day, since I have to work at the shop. I still need to prep my salad for lunch and make sure I have the snacks to hold me over. At this moment...I am dying for a GTL Shot (Ginger, Turmeric, Lemon not Gym, Tan, Laundry) to wake me up. It's my substitute for a shot of caffeine to wake up without the shakes. Now off to wake the family and start day 3.
