Recap of Day 4: Yesterday I wasn't as peppy as the day before, but it was still a good day. I was definitely detoxing from my Infrared session. Driving home from that session, I realized that I've had 4 days without leg or arm pain, which is pretty huge for me. I also weighed myself at our local Publix, out of curiosity, and I've lost 6 lbs. At my worst I was 99 lbs and never want to go back there, so I am very paranoid not to lose too much weight. But if I feel this good, maybe this is my base weight (I did weigh this prior to kids).
I also went to my sisters house for Taco Night and was able to make my mango salsa. Delish!!!
Day 5: Still Detoxing from yesterday, but I am able to recognize the symptoms. This is when most of us give up, we feel bad and think it's a bad thing. It's best said here on LiveStrong.com "When you begin to detoxify, the cells in your body start to eliminate toxic substances. However, before they make their final exit, the toxins are released into the bloodstream then carried through the circulatory system and this may result in other physical symptoms, according to Naturaltechniques.com. Some of these symptoms include body aches and pains, cravings or withdrawal, nausea or vomiting, clogged sinuses, constipation or diarrhea, coughing, fever, flu or cold-type symptoms, bad breath, gas, headaches and stomach aches.". So I am definitely pushing through it!
Fact: Infrared Saunas is a type of sauna that uses light to create heat. The air around you is warmed up, heating up your core temperature. It's good for people who can't tolerate high temperatures of traditional saunas. You break sweat which benefits are proven to help with detoxification, relaxation, weight loss, pain relief, improved circulation and skin purification. It's been said to be one of the most important holistic treatments to do when trying to heal.
I use the Infrared Sauna at the Healing House.
